L'aéroport international de Manchester (le Ringway) est un de plus grands du Royaume-Uni. Il offre de nombreux vols nationaux et internationaux. L'aeroport est desservi par une gare ferroviaire ainsi qu'une station d'autocars.
Par train
La gare principale est Manchester Piccadilly. La liaison avec Londres Euston prend entre 2h05m et 2h30m selon les trains, et coûte environ £55 aller-retour à plein tarif. Des billets moins chers sont disponibles si réservés à l'avance. Il y a deux trains par heure.
