Bad Gastein: Guide
Bad Gastein est une ville Autriche|autrichienne se situant dans le Salzburg (Land)|Land de Salzburg, il s'agit aussi d'une station de sports d'hiver. Le charme de ce village, construit pendant la Belle Époque, est son harmonie avec l'environnement. Sa station allie relaxation et air pur des montagnes, d'où la présence d'une station thermale qui garantit aux touristes un véritable séjour de remise en forme.
La station fut un lieu phare à une époque où rois et riches bourgeois s'y cotoyaient, tels que l'impératrice Élisabeth de Wittelsbach ou l'empereur germanique Frédéric-Guillaume Ier de Prusse. Depuis les années 1960, la station a perdu de sa superbe mais essaie depuis quelques années de renverser cette tendance en améliorant considérablement les infrastructures liés au ski.
La station fait partie de l'Espace Salzburg Amadé Sport World.
La ville accueille régulièrement des compétitions internationales dont la Coupe du monde de ski alpin|coupe du monde de ski alpin.
